Hanami at Tsurugajo

After that miserable Saturday at school I had a fantastic make up "weekend" Sunday and Monday. The cherry blossoms at the castle were perfect and so was the weather. It was actually hot, a foreboding taste of what's to come this summer I suppose. I ate delicious food all day and started drinking at 1pm! Yup, great day.

This week is Golden Week {a week of national holidays} so I didn't work Monday. We played tourist and painted some paper-mache toys famous to Aizu. I painted a rabbit while Sean painted a dragon in honor of this year's zodiac animal.

And I still have two more days off work! What shall we do..?
